14 March 2008 Martin McGuinness to deliver Historic Address

On Monday, March 17, 2008, Northern Ireland’s deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness, will deliver a major address at Georgetown University titled: “Resolving Conflict in the 21st Century: A Personal Perspective.”


Mr. McGuinness will share a wealth of personal experience in resolving conflict and building peace and reconciliation in divided societies. The lecture will not only address the resolution of “The Troubles” but it will also provide prescriptive measures that can be applied to other regions of conflict.

At the conclusion of the remarks by Mr. McGuiness, the deputy First Minister will take questions from the audience.
